| Description |
The play is based on the true story of a brother and sister with intellectual disabilities who are placed in separate institutions during childhood. It traces their lives and explores how they feel about institutions. Stinking Houses offers a clear message: that people with intellectual disabilities are human and deserve the chance to integrate into society as fully as possible. |
