| Description | First performed by DanceWorks at the Collingwood Town Hall. This dance had very strong emotional connotations. The work suggests a conjunction of the immediate and the remembered, articulated by the performers through partially improvised structures.
Piece to Schutz is in two sections: the argument in which the same choreographic reference points are repeated but with an increasing density and "knottiness" of texture; the Lament is set to Film Mi Absalom, part of the Symphoniae Sacre written in 1629 by Heinrich Schutz.
