Description | Powerful landscape, timeless songs, immediate stories. This installation created by Batjala artist Fiona Foley, combined with Heidrun Lohr's monochrome and colour photos, provides an evocative stage setting for two Anangu-Pitjantjatjara story tellers. Nura Ward and Nelli Patterson are senior law women and ambassadors for Anangu-Pitjantjatjara culture. These dynamic women recount tales of their lives, the pervasive influence of the land upon their lives, and their Tjukurpa. | |||||||||||||||||||
