Description Premiering in Amsterdam in December 1999, a new opera by Louis Andriessen and Peter Greenaway opens the Telstra Adelaide Festival 200 with special Thursday March 2 performance. Andriessen is increasingly recognised as one of the foremost composers of the late twentieth century. His brassy, highly energised scores are penetrating, entertaining and yet at times suprisingly serene.
