Title Drama Festival. New Theatre League's Success.
Abstract/Description The New Theatre League was awarded the Fay Compton Cup for the best all- round performance in the British Drama League's first annual Festival of Community Drama which ended on Saturday night at St James's Hall. A prize of £10 for all-round excellence In production was won by the Sydney University Dramatic Society which submitted two entries. Gwen Plumb of the Chelsea Club Dramatic Group won the Harry Tighe Cup for the best Individual performance.
