"This was the first outing by students of Hayes Gordon, collectively known on the evening of Sunday May 25th as the Ensemble Company. The performance took place at the Cammeray Children's Library in Sydney as an in-the-round configuration. It was repeated the following Sunday evening. Later commencing Sunday June 22 the same year a season of Sunday evening performances commenced at The Theatre Institute in Berry Street North Sydney. The Company was now billed as The Ensemble Theatre." Reg Livermore, 17/01/2012.
