| Description |
In the Absence of Sunlight, a new work in progress by acclaimed Melbourne based cross art-form company A is for Atlas, drew inspiration from Australian writer Marjorie Barnard's short story The Persimmon Tree, where a woman recovering from illness lives vicariously through her neighbour, secretly watching her live life outside while she is destined to remain within. Actor Tamara Searle explored what might happen when the ill women meets her neighbour after closely observing her for so long - the audience acting as the neighbour whilst the performer becomes the observer. |
