| Description |
A "thearical melange"; Miss Hill played the male characters in Honey Moon; Miss Mitchell appears to have played male and female roles in scenes from Ingomar the Barbarian; both women played in Honey Moon. Hill also performed a Sailor's Hornpipe. Hill and Mitchell being the first female professional actors to perform in Western Australia, "everyone felt himself [sic] bound to view a sight never before ... witnessed in Swan River". The original two night season was extended to four, with a change of programme on the third night. The reviewer commented on the inadequacy of the theatre for professional performers. |
