Description "Bye Bye birdie relates two stories - the romance of a composer-pubisher and his secretary, and the drafting into the Army of their singing teen idol, Conrad Birdie. When this combination descends on a small Ohio town, the complications are hilariously involved and tuneful. ....with its brisk and refreshing score, with infectious ballads, specialties and a light-hearted air."
