It was the first time the festival opened up coordinator roles to young men as well as young women, it was the first time the festival was hosted by Brisbane Powerhouse, it was the first time that the program had a curatorial policy, the first 2high Family Picnic event, and it was the first for the creation of a new coordinator position Festival
