Description |
A sound Installation work by Rod Berry, "Geographies of the Ear" utilised tapes, long plastic resonators and computer controlled mechanical instruments to create a constantly shifting field of sound, of which the observer was invited to move though.
"What is seen and what is heard are often brought into conflict with one another, forcing the observer to choose one mode of perception over the other. At other times, each reinforces the other, bringing the kind of resolution traditionally sought after in music." |
