| Description |
An all-male dance ensemble from Senegal presents "Fagaala" based on Senegalese writer Boubacar Diop's account of the Rwandan genocide. A provocative dance work which is a collision of Afriacan and Japanese dance. It intertwines the earthy rhythmic movements of African dance with the theatrically exaggerated style of Japanese butoh. |
