| Description |
The central character is a strolling performer, a descendant of the great medieval buffoons who scratched at the consciences of Europe, delighting crowds and infuriating the powerful. He is a wise fool who slips the cork from a thrillingly raucous bladder and with a grin that goes all the way to Calvary and back. |
