| Description | Gai Anderson was inspired to write Reading Between the Lines after discovering her own Tasmanian convict ancestry. Anderson scoured Hobart's archives ,libraries and museums to piece together a picture of what it might have been like for convict women in Hobart in the early part of the 19th century. From this reserach she developed a group of fictional yet believable female characters for Reading Between the Lines which will be performed as a rehearsed reading. | |||||||
