Ribbons Of Steel was a series of large scale, visually spectacular performances commemorating and celebrating the 84 years of BHP steelmaking in Newcastle, marking the day of closure. The Garden was presented by Angela Lee Dance and commemorates the workers who died at BHP. They are represented by a character that is making a memorial garden to their honour. |
