Description | An all day festival also called Tyagaraja Festival features local and interstate musicians who pay tribute to Saint Tyagarajah one of the foremost composers of Carnatic music. For the first time in Canberra there will be a traditional performance of the Ballet "Kathavarayan Naattu Koothu". Baratha Natyan and contemporary modern dance will also be featured. In the evening will be the English language comedy "UN Inspector is Sri Lankan" and "Kaphavan Koothu" a traditional dance drama. | ||||||||||
