Description Oribotics [laboratory] continued Matt Gardiner's exploration of robotic origami, focusing on the natural beauty found in the mechanical motion of folded forms. Interact, relax and consider the growing relationship between biology and technology. With music by David Young, performed by Eugene Ughetti, sound design by Jethro Woodward and miniature percussion instruments by Rosemary Joy. Matt's earlier research can be seen at www.oribotics.net. A short documentary about the APHIDS/Asialink presentation was screened on the ABC Sunday Arts Show on Sunday 2nd April 2006 Oribotics [network] involved robots rooted to the architecture, surviving on solar power.
