Written by a scientist, Ross Barrett, the play is about Ralph, a biochemist who has made an international name splicing genes at the Australian national University, and returns spasmodically to his desperately plain folk in Perth. At home his concerns about his own existence transcend scientific problem-solving. He is anzious about who he is and what he should be doing with his life. |
