| Description |
NIDA Double Bill production of Edward John Eyre & The Soldier's Tale. This is the first performance of Edward John Eyre. Penelope Bruce had sung in an earlier version of Edward John Eyre semi-staged by Rex Cramphorn at UNSW in 1971, and lambasted by Sydney Morning Herald critic Fred Blanks in 1971 for what he called “the composer’s perverse use of a single female voice for all roles.” |
