Jewish comedy with characters created by Montague Glass and Charles Klein for a 1913 Broadway play which ran for 441 performances. Boris, a young Russian refugee, finds a place as bookeeper in the firm of Potash and Perlmutter, falls in love with Irma Potash, and is arrested under extradition to be sent back to Russia. |
