Artist statement: "The work deals with the dichotomy between the sense of space, openness, accessibility to the land that is seen as being a mythical inheritance, and the reality of constriction and enclosure. Enclosure is a means of restraining human, animal and vegetable life: male and female spaces function independently within its containment." |
