| Description |
A performance with detritus by Adrian Jones.
Artist statement: "There can be quite significant problems in making an examination of our own time as a 'golden age'. Having all our political, economic, educational and social institutions on view in such a context is potentially far too ironic. It is usually an award given to historical moments distant enough to have eroded many of the relevant, personal effects - which contribute to the making of an 'age'. After the performance, the detritus will remain, and a few days later, the rot will have set in" |
