Programme description: "This project considers aspects of cultural heritage, re-examining accepted notions of 'indigenous' in relation to the Aboriginal peoples of South Asia and Australia. In this installation sculpture and photo-media combine, the three gallery spaces redefined as separate yet related parts. Working in collaboration, the two artists have developed concepts and ideas drawn from their own indigenous heritage from Malaysia and Australia." |
