Buildings represent more than a foundation, both the internal and external composition of a building convey a third element whose drama is played out in the mind's stage. In this exhibition of work, 'a cartography of the imagination', the building becomes the receptacle for all humanities desires. The title 'Grey Matter(s)' refers to the active part of the brain (cerebral cortex) and the reduction of visual elements to monochromicity. The installation correlates psychological states with interior moods and sub-surface landscapes. |
