| Description |
Whether based in performance, sound, video or photography, Derek Kreckler's practice is consistently bound up in performative modes of being. These include the performative act of looking as means to negotiate the lingering conditions of colonialism in Australian thought and discourse as well as intensities in our relationship to land and place. This exhibition features four works: a new 'Holey' photographic installation; a new video work, 'Antidote', a new photographic work 'Untitled (future)' and the celebrated 'Blind Ned' (1998). |
