Gossip is a four-channel video installation that runs on a 6-min loop. It is a 14m long screen of projected life-sized people, with a soundtrack of them 'gossiping' about the viewer. This work investigates the relationship between the view and the works, and makes us think about the power that digital technologies have over our lives.
'Verdonck creates performance and installation works using spatially transforming elements such as light, haze, water and projections. His work makes us think about a dramaturgy of objects and non-human bodies.' |
