| Description | Portable Cenotaphs are small handmade flowers and corsages constructed from discarded military fabric. In this participation-based project, artist Sussi Porsborg invites members of the public to construct their own wearable acknowledgements of war and loss. Visitors are offered an extensive range of military textiles to work with including shreds of WW2 army blankets from Japan, discarded desert camouflage from the UK, fragments of Spanish army combat shirts and strips of contemporary digital camouflage from the Middle East. | |||||||
