Description Memory of Colour is a unique site specific response to Teruyoshi yeshiva's modern art classic 'Surface of the Lake' performed as a contemporary classical concert. Exhibited world-wide, often in sacred places, this will be the first time the textile of 25 sq m of shimmering gold is shown in Australia. Written by British composer Ed Hughes, this sonic exhibition comes to the Festival under the talented musical directorship of Marshall McGuire and the prestigious ensemble, The Seymour Group.
