Description Saltbush is an interactive journey for children through the culture and landscape of Aboriginal Australia, celebrated through live dance, music, song and stories. Insite Arts and Compagnia TPO collaborated with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians to create this absorbing educactional performance piece that uses a touch-sensitive floor and infra-red imaging technology to trigger images and sound. Saltbush is about the journey of two friends from different Aboriginal backgrounds. they travel across Australia's diverse landscape discovering rivers, cities, deserts and the sea. Children in the audience are invited to explore, play and dance with the performers as the landscape unfolds around them. Presented as part of Kahani Storytelling Festival by Teamwork Productions.
