A major new collaborative work between Australia's Topology and leading South Indian theatre company Abhinaya Theatre Research Centre. Featuring cinematic projection and live music, Sagara Kanyaka is a meditative and poetic adaptation of of Henrik Ibsen's 'The Lady from the Sea', which delves into the conflicts and confusion implicit in romantic relationships. Topology is the ensemble-in-residence at Australian cultural hub Brisbane Powerhouse, and Abhinaya Theatre Research Centre is a theatre collective in Thiruvananthapuram whose artistic director Jyothish MG was awarded the Sanskriti Prat |
