| Description |
Two plays - "Forget Me Not" and "Esther", written by Melbourne writer and academic Colin Ryan. Both plays are set in a small country town at the beginning of the twentieth century, and portray the extraordinary Spalding-Carter family. Sisters dominate the family dynamic, particularly Esther, who was suspected of murdering her three husbands as well as many more male acquaintances. The plays premiered at La Mama before Ryan combined them into a single production. |
