| Description |
The complete work by Reich is interpreted by the Rosas company without parallel in terms of skill, intelligence and committment. Drumming was created in 1998 and offers an immersive intense experience in pure dance: inspirational solos, apparently random spatial arrangements which suddenly fall into place amongst the music's serial patterning, split second timing, ultra-energy and ultimate grace. it hurtles through to the last moment, taking you as an absorbing novel might to the sudden unexpected coup de grace. At break neck speed this is also movingly elegant dance. |
