| Abstract/Description |
The Griffin Theatre Company is an Australian professional company committed exclusively to producing both new and heritage Australian plays. It was formed as a co-operative in 1979 by a cohort of recent NIDA graduates with a view to providing an alternative to Sydney's established boulevard theatre enterprise. This volume, the first of three, trances the development of the Company over the first decade--the 80s--an extraordinary generational transition in Australian drama and theatre history. |
