SIR,-Will you inform me how many people the various theatres and places of amusement in Sydney will hold; that is, the largest number that can be seated? ALLY SLOPER. Woollahra, August, 1879.
[The Theatre Royal will hold 2000 persons, the Protestant Hall and Victoria Theatre each will, on a crowded night, give accommodation to the same number; the Queen's Theatre comes next, holding about 1500, and then the Guild Hall, seating about 1400 ; the Masonic Hall will seat 950, the School of Arts 800, and the Temperance Hall 500.-ED., T.
