| Description |
Bea is the Australian publisher of a large international imprint. Naomi is her younger head of marketing. Bea is a legend in the industry, having discovered and promoted most, but not all, of Australia's high profile novelists and authors. Naomi is ambitious. Bea can't stand the current new "dirty realist" writers with their emphasis on drugs, sex and nihilism. Naomi believes these writers are bringing new truth and excitement into a stagnant literary scene. |
