Description Play written 1814, 'the manuscript of which has been found recently in a Sydney cellar'. Two London bucks lay bets as to who will carry off a country maiden, but as they enlist unawares the help of her husband the bucks are defeated.
[An interesting series of fencing bouts and duels, ancient and modern, was also presented by Mr Frank Stuart and members of the Swords Club.]
