| Description |
The characters are Dad, a bald bully-boy who remembers marching with Mosley's brownshirts; Mum, slouching in fornt of the TV in headscarf and curlers; the sexy daughter in Soho briefs and Les and Mike, two neanderthal bovver boys talking dirty in rolled jeans and lethal boots. Berkoff directs his actors, who are all accomplished mimics, in a barrage of images and theatrical styles which mingle street talk, rhyming slang and Yiddish expressions with Shakespearean grandiloquence. |
