Description HORSING AROUND, explored the novel A HORSE CALLED ELVIS by John Heffernan, which shared themes with the adult One Book One Brisbane novel THE KINGDOM WHERE NOBODY DIES by Kimberley Starr. The performance used principlesof interactive drama and forum theatre to include the audience in the performance. Children were given the opportunity to directly question characters from the novel, played by Alex McCallum, before collectively creating a new story involving the adventures of the horse called Elvis.
Performed in primary schools in South East Queensland.
