The second program of dances from Merce Cunningham Dance Company features two works offering a perfect example of Cunningham's collaborations with musicians and visual artists.
Views on Stage is the stage version of Cunningham's most recent filmdance, made in collaboration with Charles Atlas. The choreography, to a score by John Cage, is in several discrete sections: for men, for women, for couples, with one quartet by two women and two men.
