| Description |
Brian Friel's 'Afterplay' imagines that two characters from Chekhov plays - Sonya from 'Uncle Vanya' and Andrey from 'Three Sisters' - meet in a down-at-heel Moscow cafe some 20 years after the original plays. Both characters reveal, over the course of the play, that their essential natures have not changed. |
