Description An Australian Folk Musical chock a block with Aussie folk songs. Reedy River tells of the struggle by shearers in New South Wales and Queensland to have the shearers union recognised by their employers, the pastoralists. Reedy River is set in the aftermath of the 1891 shearers strike. It is not so much about the strike as about the spirit of the strikers.
