Description "Missa super l'homme arme" is based on an anonymous 15th century mass which in turn is based on the popular song "l'homme arme". The world premiere of "Miss Donnithorne's Maggot" is based on the true story of Eliza Donnithorne of Cambridge Hall, Newtown, NSW. Circumstantial evidence points to her being the model for Charles Dickens character Miss Havisham.
