Tanin No Kao (which translates from the Japanese as The Face of the Other)is a cool ride into the energy of the streets....A big chunk of the show deals with the fate of an asylum seeker, Arunumun Sivansapu, who died in his aircraft seat after resisting deportation. The story is retold several ways, through recitation in French, with English subtitles, then acted out, then with projected cartoon animation. |
