Description A portmanteau production that tells a potted history of Afghanistan's successive occupations though what re essentially five individual plays. We begin in the Garden of Eden, move to Alexander the great's invasion, on to the British occupation in the 19th century and end with the current international invasion, or intervention - depending on where you sit. Somewhere in the middle, we see the country through the eyes of a Kiwi backpacker in the 70s who has come to score hash, and a decade later, we are participants in a meeting of the Socialist Action League, where the Soviet invasion/intervention is hotly debated over milk arrowroots and natural wool jerseys.
