Mr Hannibal Williams will (by request) recite The Taming of the Shrew. Of his interpretation of this play, a critic has said that 'from a memory point of view alone to recite 'The Taming of the Shrew' without a single lapse of memory or the slightest hesitancy for a syllable is a remarkable tour de force, but to do this in such a manner as to render a large audience completely oblivious of the absence of scenery or a large company of players, is still more wonderful. Mr. Williams succeeds in doing this absolutely, and having said that no higher praise can be given'. |
