Description Contemporary Maori Performance. Four pieces: Whakaoho - Awakening. A collection of our stories drawn form our parents and our personal experience; Nga Wai Kororipo Swirling, twirling waters. Inspired by a rock formation at Whangarei Te Ringa Paraoa, this dance expresses the timeless element of land amidst continual motion; Tu Te Ao The Mountains may stand for all nights and days but men move and change; Tahuri Ki Te Whakapono To be selfless is an act of selflessness and through this act we turn and see. Ake ai. The line will be crossed. Reconnections, Resurgents, Re-Generation will happen. Tihei Mauriora.
