The play's opening was delayed when the original two leads, Ginette McDonald and Brian Sergent, left the production. NZ political jokes added by Dave Armstrong. In a first for Downstage, the play is being staged thanks to a group of 14 theatre supporters who chipped in $2000 each to m out the show.
