Further Information Entirely new scenery, historically correct, painted by Voeghtlin of New York, and John Hennings of Melbourne. The dresses from drawings of the time by Sam May, London. (Ad) Rignold brought 30 artists from Melbourne and Sydney. Touring productions: Henry V, Amos Clarke and Alone, double-billed with Black Ey'd Susan. Overseas Touring Company. Travelling from Australia. Tour included Imperial Opera House Wellington 26 December 1878 - 16 January 1879; Theatre Royal Christchurch 20 January - 1 February; Princess Theatre Dunedin February - 1 March. Rignold & his business manager Mr Macdonald left Dunedin bound for Melbourne (where he was to open at Easter) on 14 March 1879.
