Description Tells Rudi Seress's life story - self-taught Jewish Hungarian pianist composer of the 1930s international hit song 'Gloomy Sunday'. The now-dead Seress replays key scenes from his life, trying to make sense of what happened to him. Interspersed with the flashback scenes are reminiscences, audience jokes and plenty of songs.
