Description Before RENT, there was tick, tick BOOM!

Just before the opening of RENT in New York, its creator Jonathan Larson tragically died, aged 35, before getting to witness his masterpiece. His semi-autobiographical story tick, tick BOOM! lays bare the sacrifices the composer made to achieve his big break in theatre.
